In HOMER PREPARES James McCaughey re-enacts the twenty-four books of the Iliad as a sequence of performances through which the experience of the whole poem comes into being.
Working with percussionist Matthew Horsley, he brings contemporary performance into dialogue with Homer’s text, capturing its violence, humour and lyricism.
